As you may or may not be aware Kelda Water Services / Yorkshire Water Services have submitted a revised planning application to Calderdale MBC to erect FOUR (instead of the original FIVE) 125 metre Turbines and 1 x 80 metre Meteorological Mast, to replace the current 50 metre high mast, on Inchfield Moor over looking Gorpley Reservoir.

EXCITING NEws - NEW SHOW TO BE HOSTED BY YOUR'S TRULY ON THE AMERICAN NATIONALIST NETWORK.3/15/2014 As of next Tuesday, the American Nationalist Network will have an additional radio show. The "Atlantic Axis" (or AAx for short) will be broadcast on the 18th of March at 5pm G.M.T and noon Eastern USA time.
I am pleased on my part to be of assistance as a sort of "Great Britain Affiliate" to the ANN, a project that is LONG overdue. The ANA is putting out, as far as I know, more radio shows than any other network from the nationalist perspective. Despite certain attempts by rather sad and lonely individuals who have nothing better to do than devote a whole show to saying that "such a radio show presenter must be homosexual because he isn't answering me", the ANN is becoming the real network to speak for our people. On Thursday I was due to go on Alba Voce with David Baillie to discuss this show but connection problems rendered this an impossibility . However Chris Borsella (or "the Dago" as one suspect-Jewish wonan recently called him on air) managed to take my place and gave a pretty good run-down on my show, my policies etc. Chris will be operating the switchboard and serving as a second anchor for my show. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/american-nationalist-network/2014/03/14/alba-voce (This is the link to the show I was absent from) I did, however, prerecord a show with David last night wich is around 90min long, a special Alb Voce which I expect will be broadcast some time today. Stormy meeting at the Town Hall on Wednesday.
Coun. Margaretta Holmstedt (Liberal, Stoodley) has been caught out AGAIN making out cheques to herself and filling in paperwork for grant applications, this time in respect of the Todmorden Food-Dropin. This is absoloutley ourageous REPEAT behaviour from a woman who has already been caught doing this in relation to November 2012 KidsFest event! There was a right argy bargy over the Cornholme Railway Station and a working party has been set up to try to obtain £90k for a new railway platform, with both Labour and the Liberals playing politics over sums of money that they are totally out of their depth with. Plus regarding the secretive purchase of Cornholme Vale land there is a bit of politics in this rock solid Labour area. Obviously the Liberal Democrats and the "old gang" intend to sandbag this thing down. The crackpots wanting to fly peace doves at Stoodley Pike and bang samba drums got another grand, the Tourist Information Centre got £16k, the PCSO funding was continued despite them saying they won't exclusively police Todmorden. And oh yes, the International Wimmin's Day got money too to cover the cost of their Town Hall Hire charge. Nobody at the Council batted an eyelid at the fact that it had made news that the lesbians had abused a man who was the spose of a former Liberal Democrat Councillor, in the presence of their grandson, Tomorrow at the Town Hall, the Amenities committee meeting will be held at 7.30pm in Room C (at the far end of the building past the main chamber).
This is going to be a hot one, there are several items of interest. TODMORDEN FOOD BANK The Todmorden Food Drop-In's "refund of Town Hall Hire Charges" has been referred back to Amenities Committee by Coun. David O’Neill (Independent Langfield, and the Council’s Third Auditor). This relates to their booking the building for an event to hire to hire the building at a cost of £71. Calderdale report that the actual sum paid by Coun. Margareta Holmstedt (Liberal, Stoodley), who sits on their board, was £63.85. I was until last week a volunteer at the Todmorden Food Drop-in until an erroneous complaint was made about my political views and I was asked to leave it for a month, suspiciously the day before a get together for team members was due to take place. I do not intend to continue volunteering after the end of the month because that would be an admission of wrong doing on my part. I had taken it at face value that this service was non political, but in cold examination the facts render this claim unsustainable. Out of the roughly sixty volunteers on the roster at least twenty of them are known Labour Party supporters or activists. This includes the Todmorden Labour Party branch chairman, three Hebden Royd Town Councillors, their Parliamentary candidate for the Calder Valley Josh Fenton-Glynn and their Todmorden Ward Candidate Susan Press. it seems to me that the political deck is stacked and as with all community causes, with growth comes politicisation and "coprporatisation". There is no better example of that than Incredible Edible Todmorden. Either way, there is going to be some facts coming out that we previously did not know, and I intend to report them here and in my newsletter. PCSO FUNDING Given complaits I have previously written about from the Accident Prevention Council, the usual contribution to part-fund two Police Community Support Officers up to the budget heading of £21,000 is being queried by certain elements of the Town Council. TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE The Todmorden Information Centre wants £19,000 towards running costs, and this is an ongoing bone of contention amongst some members of the Council who feel that the TIC should find other ways of supporting itself. CORNHOLME RAILWAY STATION SURVEY The Labour-led issue of the Cornholme Railway Station is on the agenda, they want £90,000 over the next three years, jut to do a survey on whether this station is feasible, which it quite clearly isn't, despite it's political popularity. TODMORDEN INTERNATIONAL LESBIANS GET TOGETHER Todmorden International Women’s Event. They want £284.75. Recently there was reports in the newspaper about some of these homosexuals and feminists who had booked the venue verbally abusing a curious male passser-by who turned out to be the spouse of a former Liberal Democrat Town Councillor, in the presence of his grandchild. This is bound to make it into what will be a heated discussion. LUMBUTTS METHODiST CHAPEL BUY-OUT The issue over the right of the right of the communities of Lumbutts and Mankinholes to bid for the Methodist Chapel in Lumbutts is going to be addressed. I will be there, and I encourage all Todmordians of good-will to be there too. Meeting starts at 7.30pm prompt. Five core policies chosen I will be fighting the May 2014 Local Elections on - unveiled here.3/11/2014 1. I uphold the right of Todmorden, like many other former boroughs have done, to leave its existing borough Calderdale Council and negotiate its exit with the Boundary Commission.
I propose that we create a new Municipality to be run from Todmorden, and that the four parishes of "Old Todmorden" (Blackshaw, Heptonstall, Erringden and Wadworth) join with us. These parishes would comprise the new Hepton Town Council. 2. Irrespective of whether we secede from Calderdale Council, I call for for the mothballing of Todmorden Town Council which has no influence over major planning policy and has become a magnet for careerist parasites. In its place I call for twelve pilot Community Councils (with minimum electorates of 200 voters) to be carved out of the Civil Parish of Todmorden, and they would take over the planning responsibilities and grants regime from the Town Council. The franchise would be voluntary, not mandatory, non-voters would not be expected to pay towards it's upkeep and political parties would be kept off the ballot. 3. If elected I will be a strong voice for the bringing of major industry back to Todmorden. All business prospects that can sustainably provide jobs for locals would be encouraged and not run off, except for in the Town Centre of which the entirety would be treated as a "Conservation Area" . Our future does not lie with Tourism, we are not Hebden Bridge. Todmorden is not going to be regenerated through art galleries and coffee shops. There are close to a thousand people without work in this town, and their future is not being considered by those charting our town's future. 4. I am committed to restoring the true culture of Todmorden which is Northern, working-class and rural. I will oppose all empowerment of outsider-controlled special interests who re trying to turn our town into a "cosmopolitan" and "metrosexual" paradise. I will use my influence against them and seek local government to commit to promoting our native, indigenous, Pennine border-town heritage. I advocate Lancashire and Yorkshire day be solemnly marked in our town's community calendar. 5. I am determined to promote self-sufficiency and Independent living through a variety of education and genuine care of the environment. In this department the first thing I would be calling for would be the replacement of Incredible Edible with a sustainable food network that is about self-sufficiency, not money and publicity. I also believe we need to encourage invest in privately owned water turbines to harness the vast hydro-electrical capabilities of our hillsides, and also will promote home schooling. Against the black and green background we have the two roses of Yorkshire and Lancashire, fitting for a border town like Todmorden which allows us to incorporate the red white and blue in an "alternative" setting. The bear is a nice heraldic touch I think, as it lacks the masonic symbolism of the Royal Lion. Finally, the round shield is used by the working class fighter - as opposed to the tall shield used by the government's men.
This is the new campaign logo for my campaign. I did not want to use the colours of "Red, White and Blue" as this has been done to death by the National Front and the British National Party.
As an Independent, the colours of black and green have an appropriate symbolism. Black, while specifically identified with anarchists, as a wider meaning as the colour of the "pirate", ie those not aligned to any political party or major power. Many Independent candidates use black and white, but many use green and white or sometimes purple and white. I decided against purple as this has been hi-jacked by the "Independent Network" (ie. kosher independents).as well as the kosher conservatives in UKIP. I hope my supporters like the new logo and colours. My opinion of the Todmorden News has never been paticularly high. Their refusal to print letters from opposition voices to the main parties is due largely to their being owned by the Johnstone Press cartel, which owns the Scotsman, Yorkshire Post and around 1/3 of all local, formerly independent newspapers in the UK.
Recently they have been getting extremely lazy. Not only do they fail to attend important Town Hall meetings, but now appeal to people to bring their reporters stories to the Kava cafe, because their journalists are apparently too idle to go out and get the facts before distorting them. I have witnessed this first hand since they covered the armed raid on my property (based on a dodgy tip-off from the local Liberal Democrats jewish boss) as around 20 armed police working in conjunction with local community police. In reality this was a 40+ man specialist team, armed with both H&K MP5 Machine Pistols, and three dog units. Third party witnesses told me that snipers were positioned all around armed with what seem to be M4 Rifles, and the day before they had a reconnisance Helicopter scouting. And the big lie - the local police knew NOTHING about it. My comments to the newspaper article were promptly removed from the Tod News website. So we know the local press will lie, or at least intelligent people know that. They are so idle that they fill their letters column up with the contents of their Hebden Bridge mailbag unless some all important letter from Frank McManus or Rabbi "Slick Mick" (or Dr. Michael Taylor) is sent in. And who could forget their patetic photoshoped headlines with Councillors being cut out of pictures and transplanted on new backgrounds. Now the Todmorden News' head has totally vanished up it's proverbial backside as the front cover of the paper is featuring Coun. "Champagne Chris" Baksa, the Liberal Democrats most useless, mentally-unstable elected representative. This embarassment's behaviour has been exposed many times on this blog. Now the Todmorden News is parading Coun. Chris Baksa as a serious politician with something serious to say - on their front page. Baksa has no influence whatsoever on Rose Street, within his party (who will no doubt stick him up in a hopeless ward to get rid of him, in 2015), or within the Town Council and Jonathan Greenwood (editor of the Todmorden News) knows that. I think it's time the Todmorden News was put out of it's misery. PCSO funding seriously questioned as a waste of money, by Todmorden Accident Prevention Council.3/7/2014 This item was placed on the agenda of the Amenities C'ttee in, where it is standard Town Council Policy to fund the salaries of two Police Comminity Support officers, to a background of complaints concerning the lack of public visibility of said PCSO's.
"8. To consider approval of annual Town Council contribution to part-fund two Police Community Support Officers up to the budget heading of £21,000 (estimated cost supplied £18,350)" The General Purposes committee, in response to complaints of PCSO presence vanishing, rumours of the Todmorden Police Station being "mothballed" and concerns that locally-funded PCSO s were being deployed in other parts of the Calder Valley. Earlier that day I had a chat with Sgt. Bowden, who was due to attend the Town Council to discuss rumoured closures, and he assured me that the claim the station was being closed was nonsense, and the station was being invested in. I suggested this was pre-election scaremongering by the Liberal Democrats, and he said "he couldn't possibly comment". At the Town Council after a lengthy presentation of how the Police had cut crime by 3.5%, the chair of the General Purposes committee David O'Neill raised the complaints along with the added complaint that the West Yorkshire Police had failed to send a representative to an Accident Prevention Council meeting. Sgt. Bowden explained that they were responding to a priority call, which must come first. That must be taken at it's face value, I think. Other members of the Council disagreed that PCSO's were not being seen but after the meeting I spoke to the Chair of the APC who told me that at one time the Todmorden Police Station had a Land Rover, a Police Van and at least three marked cars outside the station, now there is rarely more than one vehicle in attendance. The vote will be taken over funding the PCSO's at the next Amenities C'ttee meeting, which as always, is open to the public to attend. A meeting of the GENERAL PURPOSES COMMITTEE will be held on Wednesday 5th, March 2014, in Committee Room ‘A’, of the Town Hall, commencing at 7.30pm.
Sgt Michael Bowden, West Yorkshire Police will attend the meeting to explain the impact of the proposed Police re-organisation, with particular reference to Todmorden. I met Sgt. Bowden earlier today and the impression I am getting is that the Police are looking to bolster up use of the Station by sharing the building with partner agencies, after settling on Todmorden as an essential police base, after Sowerby Bridge and Todmorden lost out. The town narrowly escaped losing its station some years ago, but the cell block has been converted to a computer room. This item is in effect scaremongering by the Liberal Democrats, usual tactics by a party looking at losing its last Todmorden seat on Calderdale Council. |
