There can be no discussion of any development of the Town Centre until parking fees are abolished.1/31/2014 There has been much talk lately of what must be done with the Town Centre. There has been the Market Future's Report and chatter over supermarkets. I have myself raised very important questions over the Rose Street site, but it all comes back to one thing, parking!

To watch part two just click on the link at the end of the video. The Arab Monrarchists, Islamists and Mercenaries are working with the MI6, Mossad and the CIA. They are attempting to destabilise Syria and plunge the whole region of the Levant into war.
Certain plastic patriots support any flag-flying, jingoistic, war-drum babging that makes the case for an agressive foreign policy. Don't be a partiotard. Only Iran and Russia are standing by the modern, nationalist Syrian Arab Republic, whose side are you on? Below is the speech of the Syrian Minister, where he was given eight minutes alongside Australia, Morocco and a whole bunch of other states that have nothing to do with this. Iran was not invited. http://sana.sy/eng/21/2014/01/22/523706.htm The bias of the BBC is sickening, which is why most people are going to PressTV of Iran or Russia-Today for their foreign news. Special acknowledgments for Webster Griffin Tarple for bringing us the truth. Attending the Town Hall meetings can be a very tedious job. Most of the items on the agenda are rubber-stamping procedures, putting out political brush fires and speculation over the price of the paperclips. Wasting time political posturing is generally discouraged. That’s why I was surprised to see three items added to the agenda of this weeks General Purposes Committee. Of these three additional items, one related to council standards and the “Parish Charter”, the other to the future of the police stations and the last to adult education in Todmorden. The last one, I thought, sounds like a Labour item.
But alas no, all three of them were placed on the agenda by Coun. Margaretta Holmstedt (Liberal, Stoodley). Why the sudden urge to begin raising items you may ask? Well she is her party’s candidate for Todmorden Ward in the upcoming May 22nd Local Elections. The item of Council Standards was a bit rich, coming from a Town Councillor who was forced apologise and hand back a cheque made out by her committee to a charity event where she herself was the end recipient. The item over Adult Education relates to the slow-mothballing of the Todmorden Community College, a process that began under the Liberal-led Cabinet of over a year ago. The item over the Police Station was just the typical election scaremongering similar to that of Labour’s Steph Booth over the Todmorden Library. I think it is highly unethical, if any of these things are of real foundation, to wait until the selection of election candidates to raise them, wasting valuable time that could be used doing something about the said threats and hazards. Do all three pressing issues just happen to have tuned up at the same time at such a politically sensitive time of year? You decide! Realistically I can do little to influence the make-up of the Council, but I seriously believe now that it’s time the Liberal Democrats (harmless busybodies one moment, ruthless and unethical scoundrels the next) were buried as a political party for a decade or so. That of course means Labour taking overall power but under such a situation, that’s when other more genuine third parties such as the NF or the Greens, and Independents of course, can then break through the ranks and stand a chance of influencing policy. Maybe even taking over! Let the war games begin. Rumours of Race Bias at Todmorden High School. If this is true this in unacceptable, says Jones.1/29/2014 I have been getting several reports of white pupils at Todmorden High School being excessively treated whilst the teachers are afraid to discipline the Pakistani kids.
One case has seen a girl [who I am keeping anonymous at the parent’s request] given five days seclusion who, after being called a “white slag” replied using the word “curry” to a Pakistani. It’s time we stopped accepting this kind of treatment. In proven cases I am prepared to name and shame such teachers in this paper, as the only way to stop such politically-correct bullying is to make the system more afraid of us than we are of them. Fact: Such pandering is creating the exact tensions they claim to be trying to avoid. One of the things the Liberal Democrats like to do is infer that I am not really an Independent, because of my hardline positions on many of the big questions. I am an “extremist” in their eyes, and no extremist can be an Independent they say. In their minds an Independent is somebody with moderate, mainstream views. I say an Independent is a candidate unaffiliated to any political party. That’s me.
I am going to remind them that there are Independents of all political persuasions, you have Independent leftists like Richard White, Independent ex-Labour people and I am an Independent nationalist. I have in the past been a member of several hardline nationalist parties, most notably the British People’s Party who I stood for from 2010 to 2012 in the Calderdale Council elections. I make no apology for being in the past involved with an exclusively pro-white political party. I have associated with non-racial nationalists in the past too and make no apology for that either. While I sympathise fully with those who wish to represent the principled nationalist banner, I think what the common man on the street is looking for is somebody who will speak up for their community with an honest mind, and you do not need to be in a political party to do that. I would advise those patriots who believe in following the traditional route to join a party and do the demonstrations to rally behind a set of principles to look objectively at their goals. You are not going to unite large people over to a factional idea, but you can rally people behind a set of demands. People are looking for leaders, not flags to stand under. I believe recent election trends has shown that my way of doing it works. Going to the Town Halls, Ward Forums, publishing and distributing informed local newsletters and dealing with the voter one to one on the doorstep works. I would invite all serious nationalists to reconsider their conventional strategies and adopt the unconventional policy of localising their activity and working at the local level, without a party badge. On May 22nd I will be contesting the sole seat of Todmorden Ward but next year there are eighteen Town Council seats up for grabs. I am happy to use my own campaign to encourage other community-focused Todmorden nationalists to come forward and flood the ballot with a mixture of aligned nationalists, unaligned Independents and flush the Lib-Lab-Con out of as many wards as possible. I hope I can count on your support. Picking on Coun. Chris Baksa (Liberal, Stoodley) is like shooting fish in a barrel. He is determined to continue making an utter fool of himself for the amusement of our readers.
After coming under heavy attack in the by-election for Stoodley for procuring a luxury BMW on the NHS mobility scheme he made a farcical attempt to have myself and another member of the public banned from Town Hall meetings. At the start of November’s meeting of the Amenities Committee he announced that the police had advised him to leave if I was permitted to stay. By a vote of 4-1 (3 Labour and 1 Independent) with four abstentions his pathetic attempt to have us chucked out was defeated, and a humiliated Coun. Baksa put his coat on and stormed out. After licking his wounds he returned, two weeks later, at Full Council. I pressed the Council for clarification of the right of the public to be at Town Council meetings, which was confirmed. The response by Champagne Chris was to place a set of restrictions on the agenda of January’s General Purposes Committee with the obvious intention of preventing anybody from asking questions that may cause him embarrassment. This was unanimously voted down. That evening Coun. Margaretta Holmstedt (Liberal, Stoodley) said, “When I read all this I thought it was April Fool’s Day. Coun. David Tattersall (Labour, Cornholme) was even more scathing. He slammed the Liberals saying, “During the Cornholme by-election I was told that Rez had said that ‘I was to the Labour Party what AIDS is to the gay community’, I think the Lib-Dems should put their own house in order before criticising anybody else.” Champagne Chris is indeed a glutton for punishment. One day the penny may drop that the more he maintains this ridiculous behaviour the more I am going to make fun of hum for it. Sadly his party’s attitude is a more serious matter. When I stated in my 2012 Calderdale Council election address that I would vote against the placing of Traveller Sites near Todmorden. The Lib-Dem’s local Chief “Slick Mick” Taylor had me arrested on a Race Hate complaint. Yet because Baksa happens to be Taylor’s shabbos goy he can say remarks just like mine and get away with it. One thing is for definite. The Liberal Democrats have no right to criticise me for anything again. Your move Chris, let’s hope it will be a resignation. Calderdale Council has placed it's "land allocation plans" in the domain for public viewing. The link below links you to a list of policy documents which decide where the Local Authority will allow people to build houses in the future.
http://calderdale.objective.co.uk/portal/planning_services/ A quick read of these shows that whilst the areas allocated as moorland are mostly safe, a great many of the spots of green belt a short walk away from the centre of town are at risk. Such sites are arbitrarily picked by Council-hired youngsters walking around with an electronic map, circling any area they can be bothered to walk to. Years ago I attended a meeting in the Town Hall in which four policy options were being taken into consideration. The main two were making Todmorden a "principal town" (ie building the rump of houses here) and building the houses around the M62 motorway at the other end of Calderdale. I favoured the latter, as that would be taking advantage of industry whilst protecting our green spaces. The Liberal Democrats, led by Calder Ward Councillor Battye (who is defending her seat this year, remember that!) supported building the rump of them in Todmorden. One of the beautiful things about Todmorden is that you do not have to walk more than five minutes before you are in breathtaking country, and amongst the newer houses there are many architectural wonders. It amazes me when people who object so vigorously against agricultural windmills and community wind turbines are so happy to see ugly modern buildings spread up over Todmorden like a rash. When the May 2014 Candidates for Todmorden and Calder Ward come a knocking, press them for their stand on this issue. Here is a map listing sites they are eyeing up: http://calderdale.objective.co.uk/portal/planning_services/shlaa13/apx2a?pointId=1378477739189 Amongst the listed sites for mass-building are: - The field behind Park Road, facing Meadow Bottom Road. - Half of the field at Harley Wood, off Stoney Royd Lane. - Tipside area, between the rail track and the River Calder. - Eastwood Cricket Ground. - The green space between Summerfield Road and Woodhouse Road. - The field between Oak Avenue and Ferney Lee School. - The field between Dinely Knowl and Higher Ashenhurst Fold. There is to be a meeting at Roomfield Baptist Church Thursday 6th March 7-9pm to discuss this but you have to register a place with Calderdale to be able to attend. Should Todmorden be pushing an exclusive "Women's Day" or should we men be allowed one too?1/28/2014 There is something severely lacking in the quality of British manhood these days. In fact the entire western civilisation is infected with the bug, or across the white world if you prefer. More and more of our people are becoming greedy, obese, effeminate and consumer-obsessed.
Back in the sixties and seventies the young kids on the nearby Ashenhurst Estate went out to work on the farms haymaking during the summer, including on the farm I was raised on. That helped teach youngsters the value of work, and that as men their responsibility was to be good, hard-working and physically fit. I think, in honesty, that accounts for the “superior quality” of those on the estates on my own side of town. We need to, for the sake of survival, encourage the next generation to see masculinity as a good thing. We need to get the young back in the community learning the values of respect, courtesy and putting something into the community, and wrench them away from their video games and trash consumer culture. The women want men to be men too, you know. It must be at the heart of all public policy, education and cultural activity to put the “man” back into British manhood. Last year the Town Council voted to give £1200 to International Women’s Day. I believe instead of this sort of thing, the best gift to Todmorden’s women would be a commitment from the Town Hall to give them back their sons, and sponsor a radical programme of farm work, masculine artistic endeavours and sports so they can live safe in the knowledge that they are fully supported in raising their children correctly. Can I propose that we have a Todmorden Men’s Day? Walters in happier times brown nosing the Prince of Wales in the company of ex-Coun. Dorothy Jordan. That was back in the day when the Liberal Democrat Party had enough decent Town Councillors to maintain an air of respectability. Now they have lost their best representatives, and Walters place on the Council was given to a Pakistani, causing him to launch his doomed run as an Independent.. Recently I lent a local friend of mine a hand in a by-election for Stoodley Ward. One of my pals’ opponents was a bloke who I know quite well. Philip Walters, a former Liberal Democrat Town Councillor (back when the Liberal Democrats were at their peak with seventeen out of the eighteen seats on the Town Council) had re-emerged as an Independent. He quit in anger at, having been a doomed loyal candidate for the Cornholme by-election, been rejected as a candidate for the winnable Stoodley Ward in favour of an unknown Pakistani who went on to win the seat. The friend I was helping was the NF candidate Chris Jackson, and Walters decided to become the fourth Liberal Democrat to try his hand as an Independent. Philip has been complaining heavily to all who will listen that the NF’s material was ridiculing him by insinuating that he is workshy and rarely leaves the pub. Having proof read and advised Chris on his leaflets I can certainly acknowledge that the NF’s remarks in their regular newsletter were vicious but no factually incorrect statements about him was made. Chris doesn’t care for Walters very much, one reason being his closeness to the Liberal comic-relief but thoroughly unscrupulous Coun. “Champagne Chris” Baksa. Walters was beaten into last place by the NF. Halfway during his campaign Phil got arrogant began attacking me as well, even though I am not a member of the NF and haven’t been for ten years. Phil has, I am informed, attempted to get Chris prosecuted for some of the nastier remarks, I assume his pleas have fallen on deaf ears. But the hypocrisy! You would think Walters had not been a party to any personal attacks and character defamation himself. He forgets when I was up against him in Cornholme he was quite happy to shove leaflets through doors insinuating that I am lying about my not being a member of a political party. Does he not think that I know of some of the misleading remarks that were made about me by both him and his then-ally in the Liberal’s Joe Rez? In fact I had shaken the hand of both of my opponents in Cornholme, and of Rez in Central. There was assurance from all the candidates that they would not resort to personal abuse in the election campaign. While the Labour Party have been true to their word, Rez and Walters broke theirs. When I confronted them about this they both claimed that their local party supremo, “Slick Mick” Taylor and his Shabbos Goy Hywel Morgan had wrote the leaflets. I have no way of knowing if this is true, but they did not have to go out and deliver these leaflets, they could have stood up like men and said; “I’m the Candidate, not you and you will not use my leaflets for your personal vendetta”. They both failed the manhood test there - nobody put a gun to their heads! One thing is for sure, I will never take a local Liberal Democrat’s word on such a thing again. So indeed, it seems that there is a lesson here. Liberal Democrats thinking of partaking in their branch slagging off third party candidates had better put themselves in the other guy’s shoes before doing so. Walters is stuck to keeping company with billy-no-mates Coun. "Champagne Chris" Baksa now. Apologies for the quality of the image but this was taken outside the Town Hall on the night of Walters second doomed attempt to take Cornholme via a co-option, where all three Independents voted for Labour's candidate Mike Hatfield. When I began publishing this newsletter in 2009 (nearly five years ago) one of the things that motivated me to do so was the scheming of the main parties in Halifax to wreck the Town Centre economy. One of the regular themes of my newsletters was my largely futile attempts to wake the market traders up to the fact that their political leaders were selling them down the river.
It all began with the purchase of the old Rose Street Clinic, which Calderdale Council (then under a Conservative minority administration) had accepted a grant to purchase on the condition that they demolished it—utter lunacy! The Cabinet in Halifax was telling the Market Traders Association that there would be money for a brand new shining Enterprise Centre to be built there - and they fell for it! By 2011 it was obvious that no such money was going to come, so we are stuck with this eyesore. Does Calderdale care, no, because they were too busy lobbying for one supermarket to be built and another turned down. There has been a bit of reshuffling of the deck since Labour has taken control of the Council from it’s Liberal-Labour interim Council. But then but I stumbled upon this document below. It would appear that somewhere along the way they forgot to tell us they were planning on flogging the entire Town Centre, when I asked the Town Council at their full meeting in January if this was true they denied it. It seems I was right all along! It doesn’t matter whether it’s the Tories, Labour or the Liberals running the monkey-farm in Halifax. None of them can be trusted with out Town Centre. |
